Hey, Nice to e-meet you 👋, maybe we can meet one day in person maybe over a coffee chat đŸ€—.

“Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana” — Bhagavad Gita
“You have the right to perform your duty (action), but you are not entitled to the results or fruits of your actions”

This quote from the Bhagavad Gita is one that I wholeheartedly believe in and try to live by. It guides my approach to research and life.

I am currently an AI Researcher at the Institute of Foundation Models (IFM), MBZUAI in Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale, CA), working towards improving model capabilities on science and mathematics. I am currently sailing to finish my MS and doing more research than my academics. I received full graduate scholarship for my studies on merit basis. I myself consider as an independent student researcher working on AI Safety, AI for Science, Multimodal Learning, and NeuroAI.

My passion towards research leads to sole-author publication at NeurIPS’25 FM4LS which I more proud of and got a collaboration after attending the conference for presenting my work.

At RIT, I work with Professor Ashique KhudaBukhsh and active collaboration with Professor Sumeet Kumar at the Indian School of Business working on AI Safety, and AI for Social Good.

Previously, I was a full-time researcher at the Indian School of Business almost 4 years working with Professor Sumeet Kumar and my work has lead to publications in top AI conferences and awarded prestigious Kathuria Pre-Doctoral Scholarship from Shri Nihal Chand Kathuria Education Trust. Over the years I have published my research work at NeurIPS, INFORMS Journal on Computing, ACL, ASONAM, INFORMS on Data Science, and the dataset I developed on failures on Automatic Speech Recognition and correcting it has been published at AAAI.

I would love to attend ML conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR to meet researchers to discuss work and life and actively review papers for conferences.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, gym, sports(mostly squash but up for everything), and going on hikes with random people to make them friends. Also, I grown up in small town in India called Cumbum in Andhra Pradesh.

I’m always up for chatting about life, research or anything, feel to free email me 🙂
